Wow! What a brilliant, crazy four year’s it’s been since joining the Habit Action family!

Yes, you could say, I am a people’s person who loves to seek, create, problem solve and inspire! The Habit Action family gives me the flexibility and autonomy to become the best me and bring my best self to work every day! Knowing that you have truly made a difference is so rewarding & heart-warming.

Recently, I have been privileged to work on a wide range of flag ship projects, including Commercial office CAT A & CAT B project for O’Connor Utilities and Veeva.  In particular at O’Connor’s, I love the woven bronze glazed fins and how the design aesthetic subtly reflected the nature of their utilities business.

The Veeva job was really modern and crisp which subtly reflected their tech brand. The unique thing about this project is it was all designed and built during the first UK lock down. The client’s project management team were based in the States and Barcelona, so couldn’t physically visit the site or have any in-person meetings.

I particularly enjoyed the workplace strategy sessions we have had with our clients over the last two years both, virtual and in-person. As part of our workplace strategy journey with each client we conduct a series of questionnaires, visioning sessions and interviews followed by insight presentations, creative design and strategic block-plan workshops. Every client brings a unique personality and set of requirements to the table. For example, Frank Brown, a leader in the aviation industry, have collaborated with us through each step of this process which has helped my growth and understanding of factory and production space requirements.

One of my major achievements of the last 2 years has been nurturing and growing my design team. Through continued support and encouragement, I have seen a huge transformation in their ability and confidence. Over this period, I’ve grown in my management experience and with such a great team around me I’ve been able to push my own boundaries.

When I first joined Habit Action, I embarked on a journey designing Education Interior’s which I found immensely rewarding due to the positive impact my designs had on the learning journey of the students. More recently my focus has shifted to design concepts for Flavours, Fragrance and Food production companies. These have been unbelievably inspiring companies to work with because they challenge me to take a function space and add my creative flare to move it to the next level, creating a unique solution tailored to each client.
