Veeva Systems is an American based cloud-computing company focused on pharmaceutical and life sciences industry applications. Being incredibly people focused with great pride in their workspaces and corporate image, this beautiful project at their new HQ in Oxford is a true reflection of their brand.

Veeva Oxford had reached the end of their lease on their previous property and were actively looking for new space and a fit-out partner that could seamlessly take them through a design and build journey on their new space. The challenge for Veeva was to be able to have an office space that catered for the very different needs of each team within their organisation. Having reached out to a number of different companies, Veeva soon realised that our approach was the best suited to their needs.

For this particular project, another challenge arose which none of us had foreseen: the Covid-19 pandemic. This meant that overnight all our meetings, workshops, and pitches had to be conducted virtually, with their Senior Workplace and Facilities Director from Europe having to join calls from over in Barcelona.

Habit Action’s approach to this 12,500 sq ft project for Veeva Systems was heavily geared around Workplace Strategy to make sure we fully understood the unique needs of each different team within the organisation. Through a series of intense virtual workshops with all the different teams, we were able to identify the needs and priorities for each team and put this into action when we reached the design phase.

The impact this project has had on our clients is providing them with a beautiful office space that exudes their brand and culture, maximises the space, and provides each team with the space they require without compromising on the design. As the company has transitioned into a hybrid working model, this space now acts as the perfect hub for people coming into the office to either meet with clients or connect with their teams. Another big impact of this space on Veeva is the connectivity between their different regional and global locations enabled through the technology and dedicated zoom rooms we included in the design.
