We helped Colorminium to truly understand what was going on in their space. After undertaking our workspace analysis, Colorminium unearthed a number of interesting facts about their workspace.

Colorminium were outgrowing their previous office, and needed an intelligently designed new workspace. The initial brief included creating a more vibrant, productive and energetic office environment. Colorminium wanted to use their workspace as a driver for business growth and development, including the attraction and retention of talent, and improving collaboration and communication.

By taking an evidence based design route, Colorminium were able to maximise the productivity of their workspace. The chosen design scheme included a range of different zones. The finished workspace is dynamic and energetic, helping Colorminium meet and achieve their long-term growth targets.

The new evidence based office design includes:

Open plan desking area, including desk mounted monitors
Quiet rooms for focussed work
Railway carriages
Informal meeting areas
Stand-up meeting zones
Boardrooms
Small formal meeting spaces
Leadership Hub
Reconfigurable training space

Colorminium also have a ‘play zone’, a colourful and vibrant canteen and breakout space, where the team can relax and recharge.

They implemented an Activity Based Working policy, and no-one within the organisation has a fixed desk. The team move around and collaborate with each other on a daily basis.
