As a brand omnipresent in omnichannel, Verifone is one of todays most widely interacted with brands in the world of commerce. Being a trusted provider to thousands of retailers and merchants to deliver secure and reliable payments across all channels, it was important for Verifone to engage with a company who shared similar values and integrity when they took the decision to move to their new location in Heathrow. After pitching against 2 other design and build firms, we were delighted to be selected as their chosen partner for this project, building on a great client relationship, bringing them our unique design and delivery capabilities.
Within this project, the 3 key conscious design elements revolved around encapsulating and maximising the Verifone brand within the space, staff wellbeing, and connectivity to the other Verifone locations across the globe. Incorporating the brand into the design was not only achieved by using their brand colours within the furniture and finishes, but also through the AV wall in reception, manifestations on the glazed partitions and other subtle hints to the brand throughout the space.

One of the biggest wellbeing related specialist design features within the space is undoubtedly the NatureConnect lighting used within the meeting rooms and communal spaces. NatureConnect is built on the visual, biological, and emotional benefits of natural light to reconnect people to the outside world. It uses special technology to mimic the natural patterns of daylight indoors to create rich and meaningful lighting solutions for comfortable, engaging, and attractive environments, bringing the outsides in, supporting wellbeing.
As a global brand with a presence in more than 45 countries, having the technology to support connectivity between them and their multinational teams was a critical part of this project. Creating dedicated ‘Zoom rooms’, and a range of alternative meeting spaces throughout the office has enabled us to maximise the technical connectivity between them, their colleagues and indeed their clients.
