Jake McCoy

Global CEO

Jake McCoy is Interim CEO of RWS Global, an international entertainment and sports company responsible for more than one million live moments every day.

Having spent more than a decade with the business, Jake has helped it grow from operating entertainment on two cruise ships to delivering experiences across approximately 50 ships, more than 135 theme parks and major events including the FIFA World Cup and Paris Olympics.

"The office environment in the future, I believe, is a place where culture and trust is built."

In this episode, Jake joins Habit Action Creative Director Michelle Carr to explore what workplace design can learn from the entertainment industry. They discuss why offices should be treated as destinations, with every element, from arrival and movement to lighting, sound, scent and technology, contributing to an intentional experience.

The conversation examines RWS Global’s new UK headquarters, which combines offices, dance studios, creative spaces and production facilities. Jake explains how the workplace has been designed to bring the company’s brand and culture to life, strengthen collaboration and create an engaging environment for employees, performers and clients.

Jake also shares his perspective on AI, believing it should remove repetitive work and give people more time to create, connect and build relationships. Looking ahead, he argues that the office will become less focused on desks and more important as a place where culture, trust and human connection are built.
