This joint effort aimed to cultivate a sustainable, innovative, and employee-centric workspace harmonizing with Veeva’s specific business objectives, while also attracting top talent and nurturing employee retention. The project's success was driven by a collaborative workplace strategy process that involved sharing and incorporating Veeva's clear design guidelines, resulting in a building creatively designed to optimize natural light and foster a highly productive and inspiring work environment.

Sustainability was a key driving factor for Veeva’s office transformation. Veeva aimed to reduce its carbon footprint and promote environmental responsibility.
Our workplace strategy process began by conducting in-depth discussions with Veeva’s leadership and employees to understand their unique business requirements. Through interviews, and workshops, we identified several critical needs:
1. Collaboration Spaces: Veeva required flexible, open collaboration spaces to encourage teamwork and innovation.
2. Wellness and Productivity: The company wanted to prioritize employee well-being, leading to the inclusion of wellness rooms, ergonomic furniture, and breakout areas.
3. Technology Integration: Seamless integration of technology was essential for Veeva’s daily operations and client interactions.
The design team embraced creativity to bring Veeva’s vison to life with a few standout features including utilising materials and textures to create a visually appealing and dynamic atmosphere. The office features and open-plan layout with modular furniture to foster collaboration and adaptability. We also incorporated Veeva’s branding elements throughout the space, reinforcing the company’s identity and values.
The transformed office space serves as a powerful recruitment tool for Veeva as the inclusion of amenities like a new modern canteen space, new toilets and an outdoor terrace enhances the overall employee experience. Veeva specified a variety of workspaces to cater to different work styles, ensuring that their employees have the flexibility they need to excel. While also creating collaborative zones and social spaces to promote a sense of community, contributing to employee satisfaction and retention.
Veeva’s commitment to employee well-being inspired us to maximise natural light within the workspace. The building’s design includes expansive windows, allowing ample natural light to flood the interior. And a large outdoor terrace which helps to bring the outdoors in.
In conclusion, Habit Action’s project for Veeva in Budapest is a great example of how sustainability, a tailored workplace strategy, creative design, and the maximisation of natural light can come together to create a workspace that not only meets business needs but also attracts new talent and retains valued employees.
