Here at Habit Action we are driven by one single motive in the work we do: to design and create amazing workspaces that help businesses to grow and teams to flourish. As industry leaders in the design of Food, Flavours & Fragrance workspaces, our experts have been creating FSA compliant, specialist air handling and odour controlled workspaces to maximise evaluation and production for some of the worlds largest players in the sector for decades.
"The contract has been completed ahead of what was a tight programme and the final account has been agreed in record time. Your company philosophy of being non-contractual and more motivated to simply do the job is very refreshing, and not one always found in the construction industry."
As a family-owned business, partnerships and lasting relationships with our clients is absolutely key to what we do. With over 40 years experience in the industry, we have worked with some of the most prestigious, well-known brands within the food, flavours & fragrance sector. From brands such as McVities, British Pepper & Spice, CPL Aromas, and IFF to Jo Malone and Estee Lauder, we clearly understand the specific challenges and needs within the industry and have continued to innovate and adapt to their changing requirements and ways of working. In fact, it was our expertise in the market that took the Habit Action team over to Hamburg, Germany to design and build an 18,000 sq ft Flavour and Fragrance House for one of our longstanding clients.
Through our unique data-driven approach to workplace design, we don’t just design by the eye. In the case of the food, flavours and fragrance industry, the needs between the different teams and user groups can vary enormously. This is why we take the time to fully understand the requirements before embarking on the design journey where we use these insights to inspire our creativity.
As with any production based organisation, Habit Action recognises that minimising down-time and distraction is one of the most critical parts of any relocation or refurbishment project. Our client-first approach and reputation for delivering turn-key projects on or ahead of schedule is something that particularly resonated with our clients at CPL Aromas – “The contract has been completed ahead of what was a tight programme and the final account has been agreed in record time. Your company philosophy of being non-contractual and more motivated to simply do the job is very refreshing, and not one always found in the construction industry.”
Our commitment to staying relevant and in tune with the changing needs of the industry, and our unique industry-leading design capability was what won us the chance to embark on a huge transformation project for Laurelle London, designing and building their prestigious new-build fragrance house and production plant in Essex. This project isn’t just about the show-stopping design, but is a significant statement about the brand, marking the start of an exciting new era for them.
One particular unique offering derived from our renowned ability to provide creative solutions which led to the development of the Aromabooth brand for our own uniquely designed specialist fragrance testing booths. The Aromabooth is designed and has been proven to enhance product testing accuracy alongside helping increase the volume of tests. Enabling our clients’ businesses to grow and teams to flourish is fundamental to all our projects and Aromabooth has made this possible for many of our clients. One of the comments made by a Fragrance Evaluator in the UK was “Since using the Aromabooth, we’ve seen our fragrance test volume increase, as well as having the product testing accuracy transform.”
